Applications Open for 2025 Leadership Scholarships

Leadership Tri-County is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Leadership Scholarships for Knox, Laurel, and Whitley Counties. One $1,000 scholarship per county in the Tri-County region aims to recognize and support high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential and a commitment to making a difference in their communities.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors in their county (including students in home or private schools meeting equivalent qualifications). Eligible applicants must:

  1. Be enrolled in an accredited school in one of the three counties or meet equivalent requirements for home/private schooling.

  2. Earn a high school diploma.

  3. Be actively involved in leadership activities.

  4. Show promise of academic achievement with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 upon graduation.

  5. Submit three letters of recommendation.

The scholarship is available to full-time and part-time college-bound students, with the funds payable directly to the recipient. Scholarship applications must be completed online no later than 5:00 PM on April 18, 2025. Recipients will be announced by May 9, 2025.
